I'm picking this up tonight and I'm wondering what it would cost to just have a new bowl slipped onto this neck. I haven't seen it in person so I don't even know if it's a bolt on or set. Furthermore I don't know if the cracks could just be knit together..... Edited by ksdaddy 2016-03-22 12:17 PM

Edit: I don't know my Northeastern geography very well, either. I just found out that Caribou, Maine is a long way from New Hartford. Edited by Mark in Boise 2016-03-22 1:48 PM

It is pristine however, I wanted to send it in (it may need a neck reset as it has been strung at tension all these years). How does one get in contact with the folks at ovation that can tackle this. This guitar belongs in a museum.

Bet it will sound great! As to the 1113 mentioned earlier in this thread, it now has a torrefied addirondak spurce top and is played every single day. Guitars are meant to be played, not be museum pieces...... Edited by moody, p.i. 2016-11-23 10:49 PM

I agree it needs to be played and a playing I will do. Can't wait to get it out and about. Any contact info provided would be greatly appreciated. Love bragging about this guitar.

I reached out to the seller to see if he forgot to take down his ebay listing. Someone on this forum pointed it out to me. I will post back once he lets me know. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Ovation-Guitar-Deluxe-Balladeer-SN-...
