Location: abbotsford,b.c. | Hi everyone. I have a question i hope someone can answer. I have recently been asked by a friend to buy his ovation 1990-7 guitar. According to the info on this site there as only 500of these made, however, this one is numbered 1224. Does anyone know why? Also wondering if anyone might know what a good price might be . It is not in mint shape, but fair to good shape for sure. I hope someone can help me as I want to offer a fair price...Thanks |

In any case, welcome! |

A few were also made in -1 sunburst.

Prices have varied on these models, so it's tough to give a price without a detailed desription of condition.
The deep bowls, I believe, are more rare.
I've seen them used anywhere from 400-900 dollars depending on condition. If it's a deep bowl, and if it has the certificate of authenticity with signature, it's probably in the middle of that range.
I picked mine up cheap, but it needed a lot of work. The Ovation service department restored it to mint condition, with a NOS neck.

The total run included 750 shallow bowls in nutmeg and 150 sunburst in deep and shallow. The total run makes sense of this serial number. |
