Being a person who knows nothing about recording equipment what is it that you see that costs that kind of money behind him? Al something special must of caught your eye .
What I like about his performance is he doesnt seem to be using any outrageous effects , it sounds pretty much electric acoustical.Maybe I am wrong here so correct me if I am missing it. GWB

I hear a banjo roll effect ala bluegrass. But with a different technique, of course.

Kaki met Justin on the road shortly after she turned pro in 2003. She describes him as a "champ songwriter, singer and guitarist." She thinks it's a shame that he never seems to have developed a wider audience. Al is right--Justin's gear is impressive and seems to always have been an important part of his musical development. Best to all--

Your are so, so right Schroeder.
Maybe I should move in the direction of learning a little Rock-a-Billy.

Everybody knows it as rockabilly but really its good old fashioned Western Swing - play the same thing on an old L5 or similar and you'd be in pure Bob Willis/Spade Cooley territory.
I remember as a long haired teenager who worshipped at the shrine of Clapton hearing a Spade Cooley Band (or was it Orchestra?) record for the first time and thinking that something wasn't quite right in my list of great players. Then again with the Bob Willis Band. Great, great music and long overdue for a revival. Is there much Western Swing music around over there? It's pretty much non-existent over here.
