Jerome you did a remarkable job as always: thank you my friend! I used the wife’s new camera,(Nikon D40X), which did a did a great job of quality pictures...
The guitar was special ordered in 1983 and has been played by some really famous people down through the years as well as appearing on many TV specials and concerts in its life so far! It has fabulous tone and really plays well: it is nearly immaculate condition. Drop D tuning is awesome as you might expect. I am honored to get such a nice guitar from its original owner.
These original Adamas II 12's are quite rare and sound very much like Adamas I 1688...The dual knob Stereo FET preamp also sounds wonderful. It came with the original case which is also in very nice shape (one clasp needs replacing but it was included as was a new case key). Thanks Rick for the opportunity and the privilege! |

Location: Blue Ridge Mountains | Dave: I'm not sure Dave: the original owner said that it was only available as a special order and he did just that...I am waiting for the full story...
Stephen: I am waiting for that as well: Dan Fogelberg as well as many others are said to have played it: the original owner was on the road s/a well known Christian group for many years and it always caught the attention of other performers.
Jim: uhhh.... ;) |

Location: Blue Ridge Mountains | Dave, it seems that in 81-83, these were available only by special order...So Jim, aparently yours was a special order as well...that does not hold true for the Adamas II six strings... |

Yes, it is very close to the sound of my 1688. BegginJM's 81 is even closer (we're splitting hairs here though...I don't think that most could hear the difference between the three)...Thanks for the good wishes! |
