Greetings Everyone,
I am very happy to say that I was able to make an amazing ebay purchase of Ovation Eclipse 1235-5 H831 Body and Pick guard. Left Hand Model. It is my dream guitar. I hope with help to be able to rebuild it. So, I'm feeling good about that. Now, the bad part unfortunately, the original neck was sold on ebay in September. If anyone here at the OFC purchased it I would like to ask if you could please sell it to me. I'm offering $350.00 for that neck I would really like to have as much of the original parts as I can. Also I'm looking for parts any suggestions?

Could you post pictures? I have never seen a left-handed one.

My poor lovely was unfortunately parted out. I have a photo of the missing neck also. This Guitar was once Black as I believe they all were (Hofner) . Someone had customized this one a lovely Green (My favorite color).

Greetings Everyone,
I have heard back from Ovation today concerning a rebuild. Unfortunately, there are no parts, so no rebuild is possible there. Looks like I have a true "Project Guitar." On a good note, I have found the missing neck... More to come.

I think Al Pepiak could probably get the entire electronics assy, pickups, wiring harness and all. You should try him at lostartvintage.com

The neck will be tough though. You might see if warmoth has something aftermarket that would work.

Yeah the pickups come in a box all ready to go and there are bunch out there somewhere. I had a couple at one time, but long gone. I hear rumor from a reliable source that she found a NOS Thunderhead neck that should work out fine once she gets it refinished and fretted.

Greetings Everyone,
Thank you so much for your kind help so far. Update, I have found the original pickups, don't know if they will work, so have contacted Alex at lostartvintage.com may need "new" electronics. Yes, I do have a NOS Thunderhead neck, (Thank you so much!) it is my back up neck, still negotiating for the original neck update to come... I have found a great luthier to help more to come... Yay! things are looking up!

Greetings CrimsonLake,
So kind of you! Please keep me posted if you do. I am not sure yet what I will need on all of the electronics yet, but I will update as soon as I know.

Greetings Damon67
Thank you! I have contacted lostartvintage.com so we will see... About necks so true, I did not expect that. I now have a NOS Thunderhead neck which I plan to use as a back up neck. I understand that the original neck that I am trying to get is still sound which is good to know. I will remember warmoth. One thing I am sure of, it is a very good idea to acquire spare parts
