Location: Central NJ | Hey everyone, new here and I'm looking for more info on my '68 tornado 12 string. Can't find any info ANYWHERE on this guitar. All I was able to do was date it on ovations website. serial # puts it at july-Nov '68. Any more info about the guitar and it's value would be greatly appreciated |

Value is subjective. The old Storm series don't command much on the open market place, with the exception of a well preserved Thunderhead on occasion, an even then they can go for a song.
It's a hollow body electric 12 string, there's not too much more to say about it. What else do you want to know? |

Location: Central NJ | Thanks for the info! If at all possible I would like to post it in the for sale section to see if anyone here is interested in it. |

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | Also a 12-String Storm series is a Hurricane. I've never known of a 12-String Tornado. What makes you think it would be a Tornado? Was it somehow converted to 12-String? |

Location: Central NJ | It's labeled as a tornado on the serial # label. I'm guessing the first run of hurricanes were labeled as tornados? I believe I saw someone else in the for sale section with one that was labeled the same |
