Location: big island | just rec'd my "zoom A2.1u" pedal this afternoon. i'm doing an un-manly thing and checking out the instruction *manual. on page 7 in the "controls and functions/connections" chapter there is a drawing of an adamas guitar.
*hmmm... why do they call it a "man"ual, if men hardly ever read 'em??? |

Location: Keepin' It Weird in Portland, OR | Okay Lanaki, You made me look!
In my Zoom G1X Manual.
Mine does not have a picture of an Adamas, But it do have a drawing of a GTX 23!
With the headstock and the individual switches for the pick-ups... Yeah its a GTX. (or maybe not)
I had never read it before either...
Do you think it will tell me how to use this thing? |

Location: big island | hey, there's three more adamas drawings on page 27.
and "ovation" is one of the model effects on this unit.
i am extremely pleased with this pedal. the built in tuner, drum machine and USB interface are icing on the cake. this unit is built quite solidly.
the takamine EF75 played through it and into my marshall acoustic amp sounds killer.
thanks for the head's up, professor! |

Oh, it must be all those multi page/multi language things I throw out with the packing material. :D |

Location: Chicago | Hey, Lanaki. I've had one of those for a year. As you may have noticed I never quite knew what to make of the sound image technology (even the Aura and Zoom images tailor made to Ovation). Do let me know what you think and if you've found a way to REALLY make it happen for you. Basic problem: it sounds OK for open string-type chording, but is weaker higher on the neck. In a word CANNED sound. What do you think? |
