After over a year of waiting and all kinds of crazy little annoying mishaps, the Twin Baritone 2080's have FINALLY SHIPPED.

The latest unforeseen issue which was finally resolved was that OVATION did not have a hardshell case LARGE ENOUGH for the 2080 baritone 12 string to fit into!!!!!!

Thanks to Gary (local rep) and Rick Hall, all the quirks have been put to bed and they should arrive the first of next week. Now I just need everyone to say a few prayers along with me that the evil UPS will not cause any damage to my babies!

Rick Hall had this to say:

Stephen,

Yes...they are on the way to you....and they are magnificent.....and well worth the wait!!!

Rick

Better than a pair of twin Vipers, not as good as a pair of twin Qs.

They have arrived and they are AWESOME.

I was just waiting for the Thanksgiving break to put them through the paces and give a review and also take some pics....

For pics, I am thinking the all black 2080's with pewter keys and inlays will look really cool in the snow

All my other guitars are now obsolete and available for sale starting for the giveaway prices of $10,000 and up.............

Just kidding about the prices but I will be having 3-4 VERY NICE guitars going up on the blocks very soon.

Nice, ya beat me to it. I am still having trouble collecting the cash to have Al order me up a Baritone. By the time I get it Fender will make changes to the system.

Mike...nice pics but sorry but no contest.....these twins will blow your mind. I now firmly believe the twins and the #47RI will never leave the harem. All other A's and O's might find other homes but these are here to stay.

Also...my son borrowed my cam when he was in town a couple weeks back and I haven't been able to find it. I have a call into him to ask its whereabouts.

Mike.....you might need to drive out to my house and snap some photos!!!!!!
