This is it: http://www.adamasguitars.com/?fa=detail&mid=1864&sid=511 FACTORY TOUR: yep, gotta do it, life permitting. 228?

I like the black the most. Acutally I like the Adamas on your Ovation Gallery that has NO epaulettes, just black; the one that gets all the questions....

I other words is it essential to get your new or used guitar now or can you wait to find what you want. Some great bargains can be found on eBay and this is the time of the year when the best will be offered in time for the holidays. Adamas I's and II's have been popping up and are going for cheap near bargain prices. Another thing to consider is would be what the guitar you buy will be worth down the road. Why not make an investment as well as a purchase and buy a classic in great condition that has a potential to appreciate in value and has the best sound! You simply cannot go wrong with an Adamas I or II.

The 1597 that you mentioned earlier from Ebay seems way overpriced. For that kind of money you should be able to find something really splendid. Good luck.

With the smooth top the sound slips off and falls on the floor before it has a chance to go anywhere else. But seriously.. Brian & I talked last night about how the textured top looks, feels and acts more like speaker cone material than a piece of wood.

There is NO place to test-drive Adamas(es) across the board here, even in Chicago. I am confident that the 1581 will do a good job representing the whole line. I have even heard it whispered in the streets that SOME like it better that the UTE!! Anyway, my old Legend really should not have to endure the abuse of my live "hand percussion" thing and regular gigging..... I'll be sure to report on the results!
