Learning all of the notes on your neck can be a daunting task.

Despite all of the methods you can use to learn new notes on the fretboard, the best way is repetition.

Fret Pro takes the boring chore of memorizing and makes it fun.

Not only will you learn the notes on your guitar, but you will be able to name them in seconds!

It's a great tool for guitarists of all skill levels. Guitar Tips believes in this software so much that we want to provide it to you free of charge.

Fret Pro

The author of the above prose encourages users to give this away to friends so I am passing it on. It is donationware which is self explanatory.

I think it is kinda cool and hope some of you find it useful.

Sorry Jeff :( , like most useful software it is PC only :p

Make that hours. Or is it days? No, actualy it's months and months and months and months and months and more months of serious application, practice and study. THERE ARE NO SHORTCUTS. no matter what they may try to SELL YOU, that's how it is. Deal with it.

Naming notes is meaningless and pretty easy. Producing meaningful music is something else.

I'd freakin' love to.... Matt is just the best teacher ever, and I really want to come out and hang with you guys. BUT, I'm coming out to NAMM in Jan cos I have to, then there's maybe OFC6, then there's a bunch of other stuff, plus the band, and having to make a living etc. etc.

I do, I realise that that was just trivia, and I promise that I have a really cast-iron, lead-lined, bomb-shelter kinda excuse for not turning out in Fla.

Paul;

The offer of half of my room is still (and will always be) available.

Brad;

Brits don't fare too well in the Florida sun.

Although the "entertainment-value" of such is priceless!

And if it does happen, Cliff, we expect pics.

And Thank You Very Much!
