There's an article on Jerome's website that talks about how the mid depth bowl was made in the mid 90's. Basically, they'd take a deep bowl and grind it down to the mid's depth. I suspect that the hand laid mid bowls were done the same way.

Any chance this one will make an appearance on Amelia in March? I for one would love to see and hear it in person. Looks fabulous. And great news that the factory got it perfect ... They deserve kudos for all the great work they do.
