Location: Scotland | The guitar in the clip is a Yamaha, an SA model I think, but as they are miming to a backing track it's impossible to identify the guitar we are actually hearing. |

Location: Scotland | Not with that guitar, The SA series, which were introduced in the mid-60's were basically a Yamaha attempt at an ES300-style guitar. That one with the squared-off horns is an older model, so unless it's been retro-fitted with a piezo bridge it's not that guitar we're hearing. Plus, and it's difficult to be sure, but it doesn't appear to have a cord or transmitter pack. Miming to a pre-recorded backing track, betcha. |

| Difficult to tell if he's playing live - but FWIW I reckon you could get that sound out of an SA without a whole lot of difficulty. Did the early models have the coil split that all the later ones have? Bloody good guitars. I'd probably take a new one over a new 335.

Location: Chicago | My first thought was wireless with DSP in the Aura/Zoom/Yamaha/VIP mode. These guys gig all the time and I've never detected miming of any kind. the vocals are rough, you can hear the main guy breathe etc. Not enough data on the guitar to really tell.. |
