This of this guitar sitting in a rich, dark, mohogany or dark cherry wood panneled study. Big fireplace... huge mantle... hunting trophys. The guitar's top matches the wood paneling. Dark rope binding... ebony fretboard & bridge... walnut neck w/skunkstripes... broccolli peaghead.. wood fret inlays... eppletts are darker than standard but light enough to contrast. Come on... ya got to say it's interesting at the least.

Cedar top looks nice mated to Koa. A carbon fibrasonic soundboard goes well with a hand laid fiberglass bowl. Other than that I have no freaking idea what you are talking about. Photos don't do it justice. Tom's custom brown slothead is BEAUTIFUL. I only saw the soundboard in person, not the whole guitar. But If I was to order another guitar, it may very well be that color. It's kind of like the JL3 reissue or the Patriot Act guitar. Beautiful. Dave

Sitting in a tall backed chair... sniffter of brandy.. no strike that ... a sniffter of fine, aged cognac in hand... your red velvet smoking jacket...and your favorite pipe filled with whatever you like. And this setting is made complete with your dark, brooding custom brown Adamas sitting at your side like an old hound dog.

Maybe for some of us the exchange taking place with Ovation will lead to some new choices that may take a broader range of visual tastes into account.
