| Hey all,
Dunno if this is a frequent thing or not, but it's an issue with both my Sweet T and my 2007 Collector's. Volume knob is noisy - to the point that it might cut the sound completely, while performing even (yup happened).
That plastic cap - is it removable (so that I can spray clean the pot) or not? I pulled a bit, won't come out, wouldn't risk it...
Ooooor is there a replacement? I have a very good tech who could change it.
...and yes I did look for answers before posting, couldn't seem to find any.

Location: Keepin' It Weird in Portland, OR | I have never tried to remove one of those volume knobs. And I would not risk it.
You could email John Budny and ask... Jbudny[at]DWdrums[dot]com
He could tell you if the knob comes off, and give you a price on a replacement preamp.

Many thanks OMA, just wrote him. But I'd rather not replace the whole preamp, it's a pity, these things should be replaceable, like any pot... |
