Location: Madison, Wisconsin | Hey there ya'all. It's been a long time but I'm crawling back on my knees to ask for some help.
My DS768 has started sounding like dog crap when plugged in. It sounds more like a Silvertone Electric (sorry AL) than the nice rich sound it used to have. It has a Optima preamp and doesn't seem to help making adjustments. Battery change doesn't help either. Any suggestions? |

Location: Madison, Wisconsin | I've tried restringing several times to see if it was the strings but not the case. It's not a distorted sound, more like raw strings tied to a stick with. Kinda twangy. |

My Elite SSB cut out a bit ago. Still had some signal coming through, especially on the bass side, and your sound description is similar. A Longnecks pretty bassy. I found the fix was in the jack, so you might wanna look at that too. |

Location: Madison, Wisconsin | I found a complete system left over from when my Custom Legend crashed so I changed everything out. I'll let you all know tomorrow how it sounds tonight. I hope that fixes is, it's such a sweet sounding guitar unplugged and up until a few days ago, plugged in as well.
Thanks for the replies. |
