Well it wasn't my top, I only have one left, and the other one, I am afraid that I would have to pay someone to take! And no, I don't walk in circles because of being off balance, I walk in circles because I can't ever remember where I am going!!! LOL!!!

Actually, 2 Model Horses, and my tax return! SO worth it! And the Seller gave me such GREAT Deals!!! I am incredibly fortunate and Blessed!!!

Can I ask everyone to say a small prayer to the 'Guitar Gods', that the 'Crack Curse' will be conquered and banished for this coming week while these Treasures are arriving???

Thank you!!!

I'll say three prayers for you,one for each guitar and best hopes they make the journey unscathed.
If it had been me getting 3 guitars from one source i would have been thinking roadtrip,i took one to indiana early this year to get a guitar.

Nancy, I've mentioned your three in my guitar shrine. I've asked for them to get to you in perfect condition.

May the force be with you.

When I was waiting for delivery of the OFC 1, we had a sort of play by play going. Check back in the archives from around April of 07 if you're bored waiting for yours to arrive.

When my 1680 arrived, SWMBO texted me to tell me it had arrived (I was 50 minutes away playing table tennis). When I got home at 11pm, I ran in going "Where is it? Where is it?". "Where is what?" says SWMBO. "The guitar". "Oh, I was only joking". Then I run around the house looking for a guitar box (seriously, how hard would it be to find something so big). Finally I admit defeat and SWMBO says "Come and have some dinner" then asks me to get something out of the pantry ... And there it was!

Nancy, believe me, you don't want to get them all on the same day. You'll be comparing and playing and your head will be spinning. You think you haven't slept waiting for them? You won't sleep at all if they all come at once. You'll have to play every song you know on each guitar and the overload will be too much.

Heck, the most I ever got in one day was two and it was overwhelming. I tried to go to bed but every time my head hit the pillow I thought of something else I needed to play on them. I think it was about 4AM before I finally nodded off.

LOL!!!!!!!!!

That's what I am expecting too! No sleep, constant peeking and playing! LOL!!! And now that the snow is gone, I can go out on the deck at night and play under the stars too!!

I plan to grab them all up and head downstairs - I very wisely did not teach my dogs to do steps (except one), so when I go downstairs, I am all by myself! I am going to turn it into my Nan-Cave, and hang all my new Pretties!!! I have a feeling I will be downstairs ALLOT, which is good, it hasn't been used in a couple years, and is really nice down there (Cedar Woodwork and a nice Fireplace). It will be wonderful to have my own spot, no dogs, no birds, no phones! Just Ovations and Adamas! I may get a dorm fridge to put Mt Dew in, I will never have to go upstairs!

(again, not to sound stupid, but what does SWMBO stand for?)

From the FAQ section within the FAQ section:

Q: I keep seeing people write SWMBO, GAS and Mothership in
their posts. What do those mean?

A: SWMBO stands for for She Who Must
Be Obeyed, a term of endearment from our male
participants for their significant others, who often can't
understand why we could possibly need yet another guitar.
Our female participants often refer to their significant others as

HWMBC (or P), for He Who Must Be Coddled (or
Pampered).

I HAVE ADAMII!!!!!!
They are out of the boxes, and decompressing!!!!

The wood tops, will be in theirs for a while yet. But I have plenty to keep me busy until they can come out!!
This is SO EXCITING!!!! I am still a wee bit afraid to touch the 1687-2, it is like a Faberge' Egg to me!
