39 years ago, in 1976, I bought a Bicentennial commemorative banjo. I left it in a closet with parents of a friend I was staying with at the time and promptly forgot about it. Recently the father died and the banjo came to mind. I contacted his now 83 year old widow in another state to ask about it. She said it was still in the closet where I left it and she shipped it back to me. The original strings were a rust pile when I took them off. I strung it back up and it plays great. Seems like it would make a nice display piece with a Patriot?

It's still in like new condition.
