thinking of selling the guitar to help fund a adamas, when i purchased it ,the guy i got it foms girl hit him over the head with it, resulting in some repairing and gluing at a repair shop, repair is solid, but shows an obvious repair, question is, how much would it be worth? any thoughts on this.

mploesch - the guy i got it foms girl hit him over the head with it,

ouch!  What'd he do, write her a song and accidentally use another girlfriend's name?

question is, how much would it be worth? any thoughts on this.

Kinda hard to say without seeing some photos of the damage.

Okay... I'm rude, I'll say it.
List it on eBay "for parts" and be happy with whatever you get.
Or just keep it. (I would just keep it, or give it to a beginner)
You really cannot expect to fund an Adamas with a broken guitar.
Start the bidding at a hunnerd bucks and don't be surprised if you don't get more than that.

Makes sense, at first I was thinking of asking 200.00 for it. Putting money towards another Adams, should have never sold the one I had a few years back.

+1

Ya might be able to get a little more by selling the individual components, but that's a gamble.

Good luck.

Thank goodness it was a guitar, and not an iron pipe! From the looks of that guitar, she was not holding back at all!

Post it here first. If you do part it out, I'm interested in the saddle (including the wire and plug but not the preamp itself)

put it on ebay as parts or a players guitar, the guy i got the guitar from had a bump on his head, guessing a concussion also, wish it was in the case when she hit him though!!!
