Hi all,

I just bought a Deacon 12 that the seller declared as "all original", but inside she's been butchered. I asked for replacement parts elsewhere, but I have doubt about the pickups originality: the neck one has been missing the brass baseplate and is badly glued directly on the "Y" adjustement frame, and the bridge one - altought genuine in its appearance - seems to have slightly smaller and darker polepieces and has a grey insulation sleeve cable exiting from it instead than a blak/red wires.

I'will post pictures later.

What do you think? Are they rewound pickups or non-original ones?

- Matteo
