Been realised that this is the "newer" version that there is no sound holes at the South side, but I also noticed that the ME symbol is missing on the peghead face. Just wondering if it's normal? Thank you!

I could not find one. Then my thought is, Why do you believe that this is an MEII? Is it White with Pearl epaulets? Or reddish-black 12-string? The 12-string does not have the ME symbol on the headstock... But it has one on the 12th Fret. We need pics.

Search for John Budny on this site. He might be able to get you the logo if there were some left when Fender closed the plant.

Do you just have paperwork from the dealer, or do you have it from Ovation? And if so, does the serial# on the back of the headstock match the serial# on the Ovation paperwork?

I have nothing against Melissa... I just don't know any of her songs. Kinda like, if you have a Frankenstrat people want you to play "Eruption".

Regardless, it's a very nice guitar, just play it and enjoy it. (Somebody bring me some water!)
