Location: Pacific Northwest Inland Empire | Yeah, well, don't ask how much time & energy went into this litter-critter. It did come out pretty well, though. The rim was the leftover soundwell from the Matrix/Rouge REZ-XII project, a couple of years ago (the one in the 2014 calendar). I started putting together pieces, & it took on a life-of-its-own. The neck is poplar, and the peghead veneer is some maple burl. The back is solid spruce, the top is mahogany plywood. All leftovers!
Truly......bottomfeeding luthiery, at it's most rudimentary.
