| Hello All. New member here. My 20+ year old ovation had a catastrophic failure and I need your help finding a replacement part. The saddle on my guitar suddenly split apart. I took it to my local guitar shop and they couldn't help me. Can any of you tell me where I can get a replacement part? It's an Ovation Celebrity I believe, but I don't know the model number. There isn't a sticker inside like my other Ovation. I have pictures that I'll try to post here. I love this guitar and don't want to just let it go. |

Your option are to find another bridge on eBay.
Or you could drill holes to convert it over to bridge pins.
Or you could just buy another guitar.

| It just did. I guess years of use. I had it out of the case one day. finished playing. Put it in the stand, and then about 5 mins later hear this terrible ping sound. |

| Can any of you help me with the model of this guitar? I believe it's a celebrity, but there isn't a sticker on the inside. Only a serial number of 373719.
If I had the model type I guess finding a new bridge would be easier. And thanks for your help. |

That is all you would really need to know to find a bridge.
It would be nice to have the screw-holes in the right place.
But if you get a USA bridge without holes, you can add the screws wherever you'd like.
The first problem would be carefully removing the old bridge.
I am guessing that it is a Super-Shallow bowl.
That is probably a CS257 or a CC48.

| It's definitely shallow. I've been to the ovation page, but can't find model #'s CS257 or CC48 to get the correct part number. I've been to ebay, but can't find any ovation bridges at all. Any idea as to where else to look. |

Most Ovation bridges are the same.
That includes Celebrity bridges.
Some have bolt holes. Some do not.
Older USA bridges have bolt holes.
But if you get a newer bridge without the bolt holes, you can drill new holes.
You can contact John Budny at the Mini-Mother to see if they have a bridge.

Or you could buy a pinned bridge and put it on, if you have the skills.
