Lottsa rain, flooding, holes in the ground, etc.

There was a 50 foot sinkhole about 100 yards away from the Post Office and all the access roads were shut off. I ended up trekking in and back to retrieve the package - which was not delivered Saturday because the Carrier was intimidated by my slushy and steep driveway.

This guitar is sweet! Curl, grain, fit and all.

First time I have seen a solid body joined like this.

Beautiful specimen Woody! I've got a flamed neck on a Viper - unfortunately the headstock is broken.

Glad the cat is cooperating again.

Psssst - Slipkid,

The Mothership made the Deacon for an Artist whose name rhymes with marina. It's Sister was owned by Jim Rickard.

Crimson - Please sell me that broken Viper neck?

Actually, I thought it was Rickard's not Messina's...

If this is the one that came via moi, it is the Messina guitar. I met the guy that built it at the Factory. I really don't know much about the "Rickard" guitar as the guy I met made no mention of making more than one. Doesn't mean he did or didn't, he just didn't mention it, I didn't ask.

This guitar was originally built for Jim Messina, sent to him, and later for some reason returned to the factory. It was offered to the man who built it, and remained in his possession until I acquired it several years ago.

This is a very special Deacon. It plays and sounds like no other. The attention to detail from every aspect is simply amazing.

On the subject of weather, Washington is an interesting place. You've seen Mwoody's Washington... now this is a picture out my window.
We've had mostly wind and some scattered showers, mostly at night.

The sunlight kinda washed out the sky in the pic, but you can see the reflection of the blue sky in the pond.
