I have a buzzing coming from my Adamas and as near as I can tell it stops if I push down on the saddle.

Has anyone any advice to help me out before tomorrow night that I can do myself?

I'm still in Japan and this guitar stays here all year when I go back to Alaska.

my 1581 had a buzz coming from the same area. i found that it was the treble side post at the end of the saddle, vibrating in its hole. i lifted it up and placed a small piece of electrical tape around the post causing it to fit more snug. no more buzz.

Man, I hate to say this, but one of mine had a couple of loose braces, and I had to send it back to the factory for them to reglue them. Hope it's not that.

This sounds like what I'm having right now, all the way down to which side it appears to be coming from, except that this particular guitar has the thinline pickup with no posts.

I'm tempted to try wedging some paper in between the saddle and bridge to see if it makes any difference.

I've also had a buzz from a cracked brace right under the end of the saddle. A little Elmer's fixed it.

Yup. Thats the only reason I didn't want to try and fix it myself. I really don't know what type of glue they use on carbon fiber.

Good point; I had an ME12 that had the bridge come off of it and we took it to a local repair guy only to have it peel off again half a year later.

The second time around it pulled up carbon fibers with it too and now looks really horrible, although it still sounds/plays great...

Well it was buzzing today on and off while I was practicing, but I never noticed it tonight on the gig.

Maybe I'll bring it back to Alaska with me and swap it with another one I have, then I can send it in for an exam, or sell it as is...

You should be able to check the braces fairly easily through the rear "hatch". Just try to gently move each brace sideways at both ends. If you have a loose one, it will show up right away.

Jim, thanks.

I'll try that tomorrow or the next day when I get back to where my guitar is.

That'd be great if it's an easy fix and I guess it actually wouldn't surprise me, since it just started recently.
