A few weeks ago I posted that I sent a guitar to Ted Nugent to sign before it makes it's way to the troops in Iraq......well.......I just got it back today, along with a hiney load of his latest CD "Love Grenade" and various other stickers.

Ok here is a picture of the guitar.

The guys at the post office new who I sent the guitar to, and couldn't wait for me to open it so they could see it......of course they grabbed a couple of cd's and stickers for themselves LOL!

Yeah right. The Forever Young crowd, afraid to age with grace.

When my wife turned forty I said I was trading her in for two twenty-year-olds.

She said I wasn't wired for two twenty.

I lived for most of the 90s in Ann Arbor where I'd listen to the Nuge live as a guitar-jammin' DJ Wed. mornings on "The Bear, Detroit's Rock Animal" (WWBR 102.7: this short-lived station was great while it lasted, '96-'99). Ted has a great talent for pissing off all sortsa folks who take them selves too seriously. He'll take on anyone and kick their ass. Lately, I've heard conflicting reports. A buddy of mine (Nuge fan) saw him last summer and said the show scared the bejeezus out of him on an ideological level. Not sure exactly why.

I talked to the Boy Scouts yesterday, I will be sending the guitar to them right after the holiday shipping season is over. they are then going to send it to Iraq. I will have to get more detailed info for the GFG website soon.
