A few months back I offered-up some lyrics to members interested in putting them to music...
Well, I listened to our very own fillhixx do his take(s) on them... and despite what you think of our comic and literarily ornery Canadian, the man gots skills... and a neck tie! - who knew?

I enjoyed listening to his very interesting arrangement, good guitar playing and great voice. Hearing the tune in a completely different (and far better) arrangement than I'd ever managed, was a hoot.

Great job, Fill. Hope others get to hear it.

PS: Jeff, you must now play your melody back to me.

Fair enough. Jeff, he has to come to your house to sing it to you first.

True, Phil is not shy. No one ever had to force feed me beer, though. We need to have another get together where I can stay till the end of the party.

Did I forget to be polite again? Naturally.

Thank you Jeff for your kind words, I do however think there is something wrong with your speakers.

Mark; if you came to the Vancouver Island Music Fest in July you could drink REAL beer all weekend! And; with you dollar at par there are no complicated calculations.

No! It's mine! Myyy liittle precioussssss. YEsss.

I will play it live via Skype for anyone,
as that is the only bit of technology other than the keyboard that I currently understand on my computer.

Tried once again to record anything on the cubase program last night and quit when the urge to throw the computer through the wall welled up again.

That's progess!

Another thing to put on the "What to do when I retire" list. I can't understand these people that just keep coming in to work every day. They must be too old to spend all their time on some fan club board.

For those of you interested in hearing the song, the subject of this thread, you'll need to contact Fillhixx. I have no recorded version of it, as I saw it live via internet....

my nimble-fingered hands have been too full of stay-at-home dad duties and doo-doos to spend much time with the lyrics. i've a couple ideas but nothin' definitive yet. give me another 12 months or so...
