Did Kaman ever make a solid body or semi-solid body elec/acoustic like the Ovation Viper in the 90s? Thanx Dan

The Hamer model referred to by Dave is called the Duo Tone, what they referred to as the first workable hybrid electric acoustic, beginning production in 1991. It had a chambered body with a single f hole, two humbuckers and a cable sensing acoustic pickup. I picked up a brochure while at the tour last May.

The first Duo-Tone had three round sound holes, two humbuckers and an Ovation pickup in the bridge. Ran two complete systems, had to use two mono chords to get both. The second generation was the F hole but I think it still had the Ovation saddle pickup. The VXT is the same idea on a new chassis and all innergrated(that's southern) electronics.
