Sleeping late.
Laundry.
Working on an original tune.
Re-stringing (4) gig guitars.
Gigging.
Staying up late.

('course, MOST of the Above is contingent upon WAKING tomorrow, . . . if not, . . sleeping VERY late . . .)

You're always invited. Even in the summer if I can get the boat to start.

Jeff, no matter how proper you thing the English are,
they still don't call it, "Arriving."

...and why you time these things to the second,
I will never understand.

I call arriving a 10 a go get eager beaver, you can find excuses every day for arriving at ten , the dog ran off , the child fell in the canal , the boat sank , lost my way , thought it was sunday etc etc etc Real skiving is arriving and then disapearing or not arriving at all

In America we say slacking off. The person who slacks, is a slacker, as in "You're a slacker McFly, just like your old man."

The way things have been around here lately, I looked at the first picture and thought those were parked buses and RV's.

Yeah, looks kinda romantic.

Then I think of the cold, moist air
and start to stiffen up. Not in a good way.

A few years ago I walked the entire length of the Thames River Path and must have seen hundreds of these canal boats. I would like to have toured a few to see how they can configure living quarters in something so narrow. They looked much more narrow than a motorhome. Many have smelly diesel engines and they don't do well pulling skiers. I'll bet Jesse James could fix that.
