I recently bought a Ovation Preacher Deluxe. Black with gold hardware. It's absolutely amazing. I do have some questions regarding the different tone options, pickup splitting, etc. etc. .
To be honest, I've never been a fan of the round back acoustics (I'm a Takamine player), and have been looking for a black/gold Tele or Strat for a few months when I stumbled upon this Preacher. Next thing ya know, here I am.

Location: Alabama | I just discovered that my preacher deluxe has active preamps inside? I pulled the plate off the back and sure enough, 2 9v batteries inside. 1 was dead. I'm guessing when I put 2 live batteries inside, it's gonna bring it to life even more?
Also, I'd like to pinpoint the year mine was made. It's number 13915 , if anyone can help out. |
