On the other hand, pizza is like sex.

Even when it's bad, it's pretty good.

If your partner tasted like canned spinach, you'd give up sex.

Exactly... I have taken NJ water at different times from two different Pizza places in Jersey. Once bringing it back to CT, and the other time to Maryland. I think I may have filled a bottle at Al's house once and used it for making a Pizza too.

It's not the same. It's the chemical reaction of the Water with the ingredients which is a direct result of Altitude and Humidity.

The worst Pizza I think I have had, is high above Lake Tahoe at a place called the New York Pizza shop or something like that. At 5000+ feet, it just ain't gonna happen. I'm guessing good Pizza in Denver is pretty hard to find too.

I think I recall something about taste buds not working well at high altitude. May have been in relation to flying but perhaps the same situation applies?

If your partner was built like Olive Oyl, you couldn't have sex.

I've had pizza at many places in NJ & NY... could take it or leave it.
I REALLY like Donato's in Columbus, OH. Think they use provolone instead of mozzerella. It's a nice change.

I haven't had a "Bob Marley" in over a year, and the last time before that was 20 years.

There's a place in the Chambersberg section of Trenton NJ called Delorenzo's. Nothing fancy, just thin crust pizza, tomato pies, and soda. There's always a line. It's worth the trip, but I like thin crust pizza. A year ago I enjoyed a pizza at a place in Siem Reap Cambodia. It was actually quite good.

You eastern board OFCers have it made.

Way out west, Dominos and Pizza Hut would be running neck and neck for the best pizza award.

Not entirely. We have a local Flying Pie pizzaria. Started by some hippies right down the road from our fist apartment in 1978. Next to the laundromat where we did our laundry. Actually hand tossed it. They continue to do well and have several local stores now.

There's a little hole in the wall place in Apalachin, NY called Angelo's Pizza. They make a great white and green pizza. The sauce is garlic instead of tomato based, with brocolli on top. Sounds iffy, but tastes great. Apalachin is upstate west of Binghamton, and is a tiny little one intersection town.

I have to agree with Wabbit - I left NJ for Detroit to get away from all that crime - but the one thing I really miss is the pizza ( and all the other stuff that glows in the dark).

Down South it's "Papa Johns".

Up in New York to numerous to mention, especially down near the city.

Recently a place opened up here in Cherry Hill, NJ, calling itself "Boston Pizza" I haven't tried it yet, but asked some friends who lived in Boston about "Boston Pizza", they said there's no such thing.

Boston Pizza started in Edmonton Alberta in Edmonton Alberta in the late '50s- early '60s. They just liked the name.
