If there are, could I persuade you to check out the condition of a 1658-4 Custom Legend 12-er at Music Go Round that Pez posted on this other thread ? This would be an ideal companion to the 1619 I just picked up. If anyone's nearby and willing to do this for me I'd be eternally grateful, and you'd have a place to stay in sunny Florida (it's sunny and 72 today) anytime you wanted!

Not knowing Michigan geography, but knowing that there's a bunch of OFC'ers in MI, I just thought I'd throw out the question if anyone was nearby. Thanks in advance for anything you might be able to do.

I hope you can link to Photo bucket from here - I've not done this before : The instrument has some substantial cracks - cosmetically poor I would say. They told me it had a new Ovation pickup installed and that it was working fine. No case. Price reduced to $487. Neck/action was decent, no neck damage that I could see. Sounded a little muddy - maybe new strings would help. Regards, Auchen. http://s254.photobucket.com/albums/hh117/auchencrow/2007_12_Ovation...

Don't go out of your way, but if you happen to be nearby and could stop in and confirm the condition I'd appreciate it. Thanks again.

This one's definitely a "pass." Still trying to convince SWMBO to let me get either fugot's or Stuart's. Thanks again, I owe you. Brad and Jim, thanks for your generous offers.
