I think you're real motivation for posting this now is that you've already got a month picked out for it on the Calendar. You just need it to find a good home in time to make it in this year.

Drawback for some is that it is acoustic. However, IMHO the only Adamas that is better is the original pre-production slothead at 3-4 times the cost (if you can find one).

The guitar I kept coming back to was #47 of #47. Do I play my OFC slothead exclusively? No. Is it out on a stand and do I play it a lot? Hell yes!

When I had all my guitars out in one room I had the luxury of just taking the one off the wall that called to me the loudest. Most times it was the #47RI. We should be thankful to Ovation for making these available, which led to Al's ability to have the OFC Is made for some of us. I am thankful to Stephen for making mine available to me.

I wonder what sort of conversation would come up if i brought this home? Really there's only one way to find out... If only I had the intestinal fortitude. That sure is a purdy one.

Unfortunately Chase beat me to the punch when they called to verify the credit card purchase while I was out working in the yard. The cold meatloaf didn't taste so good but the guitar sure was a sweetie.

I was just informed that the CEO of the man cave has to build a desk in it for the CFO's craft stuff. I'll have to run her out by practicing my slides, bends and power chords.
