Location: Florida Central Gulf Coast | I purchased a very nice '85/86 1763 Classic that had the original gold tuners replaced with Grover nickels. The previous owner said the gold ones were tarnishing (which I've never seen with Ovation tuners).
I would love to find an Ovation set to restore the Classic to it's original configuration. I've searched high and low (here and the web) to no avail.
Any leads would be greatly appreciated! TIA |

Location: Florida Central Gulf Coast | I had already checked 'em out. The current ones have the single rounded point plate. The 1763 had duals.
I guess I'll wait until I find a 'project' on eBay or 'craigslist'.
Thanx for the assist! |

Location: Germany | According to these pics on Jerome´s site the 1763 had the Schaller MKGs. I´ve checked the Schaller web site and it seems that they are still available. You can order them at every dealer who carries Schaller articles. Good luck!

Thanks for that link. I don't know how I overlooked it.
