Hi Adamas friends.
Can Anyone help me find out how to remove the optima preamp from my Adamas CB mill Guitar.
I have sometimes a fuzzy sound from the electrics (which I use on phantom power all the time)and want to clean or repair any faults I may find,Ihave removed the battery compartment, but no idea how the preamp is secured.
I live in the UK and the importers Fender are no help at all.
Thanks Alan.

I'm not 100% sure, but if it's like the OP-24 there should be 4 small screws, one in each corner, underneath the plastic bezel surrounding the pre-amp face. Gently prise up the bezel to reveal those screws and unscrew to release the pre-amp while holding it with one hand inside the body. Snap the bezel back in place after replacing the pre-amp and securing the screws.

The machine screws which secure the preamp to the bowl are hidden by the printed faceplate. Pull off the vol, notch and slider knobs then carefully take off the faceplate. You may need a craftknife or something to get under it. You will then be able to remove the preamp assembly
