Hello all,

I needed advice and suggestions from people who were tech savvy, creative, sarcastic, slightly mean-spirited, and borderline malicious. So...um...I came here. :p :D

My younger brother (youngest of 6) turns 40 on January 17. He lives Inthemiddleofnowhere, CO and, being reasonably intelligent, has made arrangements to take a birthday trip with his girlfriend. (You can read that as running for his life from the siblings he razzed when they turned 40.) What I need are ideas about how to pester, cajole, humiliate, and generally harass someone who will likely be physically untouchable. My siblings are preparing a shipping campaign of biblical proportions, all of which must be signed for personally of course ;) , but I was thinking more along the e-universe lines. I am positive he will be checking his email while he is in hiding, so, being the good brother I am  , I would like to provide some appropriate reading material. ;) Please nothing too dirty and no viruses. I just want him resignedly bemused, not PO'ed. So...any suggestions?

"No viruses"... That puts the kibosh on emailing him herpes...

I'd recommend emailing his girlfriend with assorted, lesser-known facts about the life and times of "little brother" ... items that need not necessarily be true but, nonetheless, provide interesting conversational topics over a cruise ship meal perhaps...

Things like:
-"Did you know he was born with a tail?"
-"Did you meet him in rehab?"
-"We were so pleased, when at the age of 17, he stopped wetting the bed... turns-out it was the breastfeeding..."
-"You've been great for him... By this point, his previous three wives had all issued restraining orders..."

I'm not sure about the e-stuff idea, don't have any at the moment, but something that will go over great... is DO NOTHING. For at least a month, DO NOTHING related to his birthday. If he is around, just a small cake, simple card.

Then.... DO SOMETHING.

I did this to Lisa for her 40th. We had her "party" a month AFTER her birthday. The surprise was huge and in fact, there was a moment when we thought she was having a heart attack. The advantage of this knock-ur-socks-off surprise is I will pretty much skate through 50. Nothing her or any of her friends will really top what we did to/for her, so I'm pretty safe.
