I always look at my guit and can't get over how that neck looks! I also dig how the machines say "Made in W. Germany" too: My question is this: is there still trouble out there in regards to woods and have any Ovations/Adamas been seized? Regards, BillÆ

There was a big deal about some Gibson wood stockpiles a while back.
But without going in to conspiracy theories about persecution vs. prosecution...

That might not protect you from some customs agent looking for a bribe.

A good thing about having much of the guitar built out of plastic is that you are not as much dependent on controlled materials and scrace resources.
