Over here we just had a State Senator or Governer get his 15 miutes of fame by using the public bathrooms in an airport. He just rubbed the off duty police officer the wrong way ( if you know what I mean )when he was in the bathroom. So your 15 minutes could happen anywhere.GWB

So I took about 10 kids to the beach on Alameda to stop the whining. As they all splashed about and I sat in my beach chair, the very lovely and talented Faith Fancher of KTVU came by with her cameraman and asked if she could interview me. The story is the lead story for the evening news and my own movie star mug and silky baritone are first up, along with my name and descriptor. I will forever be immortalized as "stonebobbo - Sunbather". I may have them put that on my headstone.

Actually, I was the lead article in a small town Kansas paper for a college commencement address. I've also been supposedly quoted in the paper and have been on TV too many times, but the best was I was in a commercial for New York Life, when they started their "The Company You Keep" campaign a few years ago. I was on a soccer team sponsored by a local agent. It ran in a bunch of NFL playoff games. It's easy to make the news when you live in small towns.
