Hello. My 2001 12-string ME has decided to eat a brand-new 9V battery within an hour -- I mean I can plug in a new battery and within one hour, or less, the voltage will drop to 8V and the guitar will cut-out and go dead while playing through the speakers.. any suggestions?

Ended up not using the on-board equalizer.. I now use the EQ Status button in the OUT position and the batteries are fine. One of these days I'll have to drive the 75 miles to have it checked out..
