Location: Cicero, NY | Not a huge movie guy but I'm looking forward to Sweeney Todd and Walk Hard too. Don't know that I've seen anything on Bucket List but I'll have to catch up with that one. I have heard that Juno is a pretty good show. |

Location: Campbell River, British Columbia | Saw The Bucket List last night. I enjoy watching good actors (musicians/welders/butchers/nuclear physicists) just go about their craft. If the story is good, so much the better.
Of course, Jack just does Jack these days. Freeman does nuance. But they're both good.
In the same vein (though not the same kind of movie AT ALL) I can recommend Emotional Arithmetic. Susan Sarandon, Max Von Sydow, Christopher Plummer, Gabreil Byrne, Roy Dupius, and some great child actors all giving beautifully nuanced performances. Warning!, art film. |

- Suffer only from one of those "Hollywood" fatal diseases where you're fully active until the day you die and get more handsome and virile as that last day approaches...... |

Location: Boise, Idaho | I have had a very simple "bucket list" of sorts. Ever since we bought our cabin, I said I was going to sail the catamaran around the point. The bay we are on is very sheltered. The goal seems very simple, but it really means that I have a goal of having a day at the cabin where I have nothing to do, since it will take an afternoon to get out there, sail around in the next bay, and get back.
After 17 years, I still haven't done it. I either have a project that needs to get done, the wind isn't there, or it's too cold. Last time out, I flipped the boat and broke the rudder. The bigger picture is that I hope someday to retire and have some time to do stuff like that--and watch movies. |
