So muzza came round, played my guitars, we went to the pub for lunch, came back and played a little more. Mainly we talked.
It was really enjoyable but there are no pics of two bearded middle-aged guys sitting chewing the fat. It wasn't an attractive sight.
He plays a very mean blues harp.
We plan to do it again every 14 years. At his place next time. Feel free to join us.

Count me in next time. I'll be 58 then, nice old-timer meeting.

I'll be dead. But you are very welcome to attend Karl. Hold a seance and I'll visit from the great beyond - Schroeder in Himmel!

Well, I think the membership should be punished for pissing Al off. When I give the car back I'll pop in and get some photos. As long as the lens doesn't shatter, you can do wonders with photoshop.

Thanks for the compliment. I know how it pains you to say nice things. Sometimes I blow, sometimes I suck. I notice you failed to pass comment about my terminal mediocrity in the stringed instrument category. But that's understandable, considering your current 'nice' phase.

Yes, my door is open to visiting OFCers. (Old Farts Club) remembering that I live in Australia, not London.

Thanks for having me Schroeder. A very enjoyable day despite the constant phone interruptions from SWMBO. I'd never played an 'A' before and hope it won't be my last.

So... I've met my first OFCer, and had to travel to the other side of the planet to do it. Saw lots of photos of the tours, which is as close as I'll ever get to attending one - assuming that they continue. Look out James, you're probably next.

Schroeder wasn't actually at any of the OFC gatherings. We sent him photos and he photo shopped himself in. The group does have SOME standards.....

You need to get back to Oz Muzza....that English climate is making you age disgracefully, and it's not doing too much for your sense of fashion either :D

Well, there we have proof that he actually did spend time with the Schroedergeist.

Safe trip mate...Looks like I'm heading to Brissy for a few days in Arpil or May. I know it's still a bit of drive for you but maybe you, me and James can organise something?

I'm in.
Your view from the back door is different to mine.

I'm only an hour and a half from Brisbane, given a good run. We should alternate venues and get a regular AOFC gathering happening.

Oz, we're heading to the Hunter Valley at Easter, so we may be passing through your area. Gotta spare bed or 2?

James, try a 'fill flash' for photos where the background is much lighter than the subject. (Just my $0.02)
