Aside from changing out the pickguard, I completely replaced the electronics - added Texas Special PUPs, changed out the pots, switch and jacks and added Graph-Tech saddles, nut and string T. It is a completely different guitar now. It sounds 100% better - it was kind of lifeless before.
Thanks for the suggestions! |

Location: Michigan | I like the white much better.I have the same guitar in natural but it has an American neck on it.I went and bought a Fender white pickguard and forgot that this model has the S-2 switching on it and the pickguard needs a hole in it for the button to go through so its back to the ugly farm for mine.Im not crazy about Strats after having one.
Crimson any idea what one might be worth?
I may be putting it up for sale down the road.GWB |

It's fairly easy to get rid of the switch. Just a little rewiring.
As for value - I have no idea. If I recall, it cost around $400 new and that was over 2 years ago. I'm sure if you search on ebay you'll find some for sale. I didn't like mine too much either. I like it alot better now. |
