I am 48 and taking up the guitar. It is part of my bucket list and things I should have done when young list.

I have three ovations. A Celebrity, Tangent and Viper - solid body electric from the 1970's.

My Tangent has a pick-up that is not working. When I plug it in, I can adjust the pitch with the EG and the volume but it has a major sounding buzzing.

Any suggestions concerning this problem would be appreciated. I am learning and play it acoustically, but I am anal about my stuff working.. LOL

Thanks
Paul G.
