| hello to all- new member here..
bought my first Ovation as a teenager, fell on hard times, learned some life lessons the old fashioned way. Sold any guitars I had, and worked my butt off.
Had not picked up a guitar in 20 years, until my son tells me - "hey dad, I want to learn guitar" so, i spend money and time, buying him a guitar, getting him lessons, etc. He is 19 now, plays a lot of bass, stand up bass, a really neat kid - born in the wrong era. Has a very "old" soul. Woulda made a great hippie. Works hard at being one now.
Fate is a funny gal.. i recently started playing again- always loved Ovations, just found a project 1112..can't wait to start on it.
Searched the web- found you guys.. hope I can learn some tips/tricks.
thanks for lettin me crash your party..

| I may have paid too much- but thought it was a fun project- the top has been replaced, but not finished. The bridge needs to be attached. I'm just dumb enough to try it all !
I have moderate woodworking skills, have a compressor and sprayer I have used to lay some poly on furniture with good results. I will soon see !! |
