So I have a question about my first Ovation a CK047-FKOA. Though made in Korea, the bowl is imprinted with "Bowl Made by Ovation USA."

Did they really make the bowl in New Hartford and then ship it over to Korea? Seems awfully roundabout. And is this standard policy for Celebrities?

Actually, the bowl was made in Ashtabula, OH by Zehrco-Giancola Composites.

Beal talks about it HERE

All of the bowls were made in USA. Some were sent Asia for Celebrity's and Ultra's.
Except maybe those VL (Vintage Lyrachord) that came-out recently.
