I had a 1777LX Legend and when played with a pick it sounded amazing or on strums while playing with my thumb it sounded alright but not as good with pick.. i noticed picking the the E&A string by thumb would get a lil muddy, still good but on the muddier side .. and on the 1778T i noticed it's the opposite, it sounds amazing without a pick, but when played with a pick its still sounds good but a bit too much on the treble side, i play without a pick 95% of the time so i love the elite T but a pick definitely makes a huge difference .. any guitars that you find sound great with or without a pick but less satisfying to the ear vice versa?

If I had my pick of the lot I would pick the one which sounds good with a pick or without a pick but I would never be picky about it.
