Hello,

Well after years of dreaming of getting a Magnum bass I finally found one at the right time. I picked up a Magnum III that looks awesome sounds even better but... it has a crack running along the back of the headstock. It looks as if it was repaired awhile ago with wood scews. I have no idea if there is a more reliable way to fix the crack or if my best bet is to hope for the best and start looking for a replacement neck. If the crack does not grow and continues to not effect the sound I could live with it. I would rather have an undamaged neck but I'm just looking for advice.

you're update to full member now, enjoy the benefits by first posting in the BFLG section. There's a bunch of Young Frankensteins over there that would love to chime in I'm sure.
