Picked up this wicked 1971 K6442 today. Great sounding amp. Nice and clean sound, volume range is smooth, sounds good low or high. I'm impressed.

Now if I had the matching 70's Adamas with the 3 pin DIN jack I'd be dialed in.

Hi Brian. The amp sounds really really good. Since it's a solid state it's a little short on real clean punch like a 70's reverb, but all things considered (it being an ovation) it's very well built. It has the typical aviation grade Kaman pots and switches which are squeaky clean with no pops or scratches. The reverb sounds great and it has an XLR jack for an adamas which is nice. It's a great amp. I need to buy the matching second cabinet to it from the gent I got it from. Also last but not least, it has that groovy fabric on the front. Makes me wanna roll a fatty. There are bass dudes out there, look for one. Mine came with a dolly that someone down at the factory made for it so it rolls around nice. It isn't light that's for sure. Not a traveling mans amp.
