Damn....not sure how this one slipped through the radar!

:(

I would have jumped on this one and let Master Clifford borrow it for a bit.

Yeah....missing it by less than an 1/2 hour (time when I noticed it vs the sale time) really bums me out.

Sorry Cliff.....but my other offer still stands!

Last week, MasterJeffy & I stumbled upon this Washburn in a NJ SamAsh.

It's a Romanian-made replica of an 1800's-era Washburn, and it was pretty f-in' cool!
It was small, comfortable, had a GREAT sound (for a small-bodied guitar), and the extent of antiquing/relic-ing was amazing! The wood on the sides had "raised" grain like old wood that'd been used a LONG time . . .
Jeffrey was eye-balling it as a travel guitar.
The only problem I'd see getting used to, would be the neck . . a very, VERY, DEEEP "V".
If you cut a cross-section of the neck, it'd almost look like an equilateral triangle.
That might take some getting accustomed to . . .

Other than that, it was a cool little unit.

I really liked this guitar and if the Dlx Balladeer I just purchased doesn't workout, I might well sale it and get one of these, as Cliff sez, for traveling. They are quite small but sound much bigger than they are. In addition to that DeepV profile, it's a wideneck...

I think however, if I remember correctly, that they are made in Indonesia.
