Location: Taxed To Death State | Hello all. I am an avid fan of Ovation guitars. I grew up in New Hartford and lived there during the hay days of Ovation (70's-80's). I lived 1/3 of a mile from the factory. You could smell the fiberglass glue on a hot summer day from my house. I used to own bunches of these guitars as a kid but of course sold them all to jump on the Fender train and be cool. I wish I never sold my preacher, viper, or breadwinner. Recently I have bought a Preacher and yesterday a 1980 Viper. The 80 Viper needs some parts to get it where I would like it to be. I am in need of an all chrome bridge and a 3 way toggle switch. The case latches are busted up as well. If anyone out there has any Viper Parts please let me know. I have attached a pic of my small collection that I hope to regrow. |

Eventually the doorman will come-by and let you in.

Location: Taxed To Death State | Hi Al, I chatted with Miles and he said he didn't have any. If you might I would appreciate your help. Just let me know if you find one and I can PayPal you a payment. I gotta figure out what I'm going to do about the bridge. The pot metal is all rotted away in some spots as are the saddles. I think they are schaller made bridges so I may go down that route. I may also see if I can get it re chromed. Probably cost a ton though. |

Location: Jet City | Danomyte, welcome. Feel free to post about. There are only a few members that can respond in this 'newbie' section. Try a 'wanted' post in the for sale section. I'm not promising anything, especially on those hard to find parts (especially if MrO doesn't have 'em), but this is probably the best bet on the planet for finding them if they're to be had.
At least a good start. |

Location: Taxed To Death State | Hi Al, here is a picture of a bridge and the PU selector switch I need. This isn't my guitar but it's the same parts on mine. |
