I got my wife and I tickets to the Eagles concert in Atlanta on her birthday in Atlanta. She LOVES the Eagles and this will be our 5th time to see them. The last few times I've seen them they used Takamine on the acoustic sets. I am looking forward to it.

Hope you got the cheap seats, cause the last time I saw Eagles tickets, they were a chunk of change.

We saw them on their first reunion tour, when $50 tickets were considered grossly overpriced. I got free tickets and it was a great show. Can't beat that. The next time they came through, I couldn't get free tickets, so we decided to pass. They seem to raise the bar for ticket prices.

We paid $65 each for the lawn seats. The seats up close were $185. It's at a very small venue here that holds roughly 4,000 people. (Seats and lawn)
Last time I paid $100 each so it's actually gone down. I guess I rationalize it by the fact that there are three different guys in that group that I would (and have) paid to go see in solo concerts. I will admit that I'm not crazy about the new album, but $130 for a good night out seeing one of my all time favorite bands is not so bad. I have spent a lot more on a lot less.

Watchme22,
Be prepared for a larger crowd than you expect. They're advertising this new amphitheater to be a 12,000 seat venue.

Caught the Eagles in Manchester UK about 4/5 years ago. I paid £35 for a not-bad seat (about USD70 ish) which is about average for their sort of gig over here. They had no support act, came on at 1930, played for over an hour, had a quick break, played for over another hour, had a quick break, and then did another 45 minutes.

Frankly, I felt I hadn't been charged enough for that evening's entertainment. I would have happily paid double knowing the time they would play for.

They even did a version of Boys of Summer, which was a surprise, but a nice distraction...

I paid $500 for a premium second row seat at their "Farewell One" Tour in Melbourne Oz in Dec 2004.
It was worth every cent.
Especially when as a result, I got three extra tickets to a limited audience video taping session the next day.
I took two of my brothers who are semi professional muso's.
They did six songs.
Fantastic day.
